Age Gracefully

Age is really a funny thing indeed. Every moment that ticks away, makes you a little more older, perhaps wiser too.  It creeps on to you rather steathily, and evn you may not realize that it has, for it's all a part of the process, which even you may not notice. It's those around you who discern the subtle changes and one fine day they'll announce the verdict - you are too old for this or you are not young enough for that. But those who do that do not realize that it is someone else's live on which they  make their decision and pronounce the future too. They do not even for a moment sit down to think "who are we to decide the right time for anyone's retirement, and who are we to dictate any course of future action?"

Age is something no one can escape. We all need to prepare ourselves slowly but surely - mentally, physically to accept the changes that take place and learn to adapt to changing times. We need to pursue activities that engages the mind and allows that much space to make contributions whenever wanted.

It's a lot simpler to say than doing it. But just hang on and show value.
