what you believe in, even if you stand alone.

yourself.

safe, always.
#63 You are allowed to
simply be, just as you are.
#64 You trust your own
instincts.
#65 You allow yourself
to receive love and support.
#66 You breathe and
relax, knowing all is well.
#67 You let your
worries drift away with each deep breath.
#68 You give yourself
space to process big emotions.
#69 You allow yourself
to retreat sometimes.
#70 You are all of
yourself and well-loved because of that.
#71 You allow others to
truly see you.
#72 Your authenticity
allows others to be authentic.
#73 You go first,
leading the way for the rest.
#74 You stand tall.
#75 You are proud to be
you.
#76 You have unlimited
potential, no matter what has come before.
#77 You let love fill
any empty spaces.
#78 You put aside
other’s expectations, only you know what you really want.
#79 You shine
beautifully simply by being you.
#80 You release past
failures, with love.
#81 You respect
yourself and your body.
#82 You honour life by
living yours with love.
#83 You are shown
courtesy and respect by others, and do the same in return.
#84 You say sorry and
allow yourself to be forgiven.
#85 You love yourself
and are always worth the effort.
#86 You treat yourself
with respect, demonstrating to others how to treat you.
#87 You never put
others before yourself, no matter who they are.
#88 You are well-loved
by those around you, for who you are.
#89 There is nothing
expected of you other than to let who you really are emerge.
#90 Everything is
unfolding as it should.
#91 You let go of any
demands on you. All things happen at their own pace.
#92 You know you are
successful, it is only a matter of time.
#93 You are strong but
also open and soft.
#94 You know you are
deeply loved and seen by those who care about you.
#95 You are always you,
no person or situation changes that.
#96 Your unrelenting
self-love paves the way for loving relationships to greet you.
#97 You stand on your
own, yet know you will always be caught should you fall.
#98 You are allowed to,
and supposed to be, happy and filled with joy.
#99 It is your time and
you do it your way.
#100 You are individual
and unique, and would never hide that.

Raman Bharadwaj: A peaceful life is not one that is free of stress,
frustrations, disappointments, expectations, anger, jealousy, suffering or
responsibilities.
It is one in which , a
person is able to go to bed , most of the nights, knowing that
1) He'd delivered his
best with the available resources
2) He'd continued his
efforts despite having people who would understand, if he had stopped.
3) He'd leashed his
tongue, even when situations would have justified his lashings, if he hadn't.
25/12/2020, 12:57 -
Raman Bharadwaj: When people laugh at themselves when there's no reason other
than to make someone else feel comfortable, that's their maturity!
When people laugh at
themselves before someone else gets a chance to, to diffuse the situation,
that's their self defence mechanism!
When people laugh at
themselves with someone else who care too much about them to judge them, that's
their release and relaxation!
25/12/2020, 12:58 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Many people live without realising, when or how they become
hindrance or bothersome, to others. Some are aware, but don't care enough to do
anything about it. Very few, go out of the way, as to not hinder or bother
others but, it is these people who get jostled all over the place!
25/12/2020, 12:58 - Raman
Bharadwaj: Words are powerful. Words can make or break. Words can hurt or heal.
Words can begin or end...
Surprisingly,
substituting 'Words' with 'Silence' can do exactly the same.
So, Silence & Words
both have to be used with great care and discretion, understanding the life
context of the receiving person, in order for the expression of the thought or
the feeling, to be effective.
25/12/2020, 12:58 -
Raman Bharadwaj: When you're in trouble and are still able to smile - those who
like you will admiringly say, "look at him, smiling despite these
issues!", so,keep smiling! Surprisingly, those who dislike you could also
say the same words, mockingly! So what, keep smiling!!
25/12/2020, 12:59 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Superior is that person who senses a friend is in need of
money and offers it, before being asked for it. More superior is the person who
senses a friend is in need of advice and does not offer it, until asked for it.
25/12/2020, 12:59 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Whether at home or work, being organized is the first step
towards prioritisation and peace. Being organized, is to have - A place for everything and everything in its
place; A time for everything and everything in that time; A space for everyone
and everyone in that space.
25/12/2020, 12:59 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Probably, the single most important skill, a person needs to
live a peaceful and satisfied life would be ' Prioritisation Skill '. If this
one skill is cultivated well, people would know what and just how much
importance they should give other people, relationships,
situations,skills,habits, events, tasks/activities , knowledge, information
etc.
25/12/2020, 13:00 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Sometimes, the very people whose feelings you've so carefully
cared for - whose fight you've always fought, whose side you've always taken -
are the very ones, who take yours very lightly!
25/12/2020, 13:02 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Whether a person feels that he is being sensible or if he is
being pushed to sacrifice, depends upon the speed with which and the extent to
which he accepts the reality of that
moment.
The ability to take
action on feedback given & the ability to laugh at oneself, even with
others, are two great measures of high personal integrity!
Love, hope,
compassion, happiness,anger,curse,
irritation, fear are some of the feelings or expressions, you can have for or
give someone, without reducing from what you have given or 'kept' for someone
else!
The time taken in
reporting an issue, the validatability of the evidences on hand, the level of
authority to which the 'complaint' is raised , the manner in which the case is
presented and the track record of efforts made /resources spent in following
up, form a complete picture on the core intention of the complaint raised!
Any person,who is asked
to check if there is Rs.10,000 in a bundle counts and recounts till the last
note in the bundle!
No one would count till
about halfway , then stop counting saying that, since it was right till then,
it would be right all the way to the end of the bundle!
I wonder why some people
don't apply the same logic in tending to relationships!
I wonder how they stop
nurturing the relationship midway and expect it to continue just fine forever!
When the problem is not
theirs to solve or endure, when they don't have to face or live with the
consequence of the decision made or to be made, the easiest thing for people to
do,is to have an.opinion about it. The toughest thing for people to do is to
keep their opinion to themselves!
25/12/2020, 13:02 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Live while alive...
Somewhere between
learning,
Toiling
,yearning,earning…
Somewhere between the
triumph
And feeling down in the
dumps…
Somewhere between the
illness,
Physical,emotional
wellnessness
Somewhere between the
fears,
Hopes,laughs, joy and
tears
Somewhere between
hellos
And loss of known good
fellows
Somewhere between the
hugs,
Glares,swears,winks and
shrugs,
Exists precious LIFE...
Observe , not just see
Listen,not just hear
Feel,not just think
Express,not just feel
Progress,not just move
Seek, not just wait
Enable, not just use
Give ,not just accept
Live, not just exist
Live while alive.
25/12/2020, 13:03 -
Raman Bharadwaj: A good friend is a signpost, a microphone, a pair of
binoculars, a scheduler,a charger, a window, a filter, a punching bag, an
umbrella, an album, a panic button,a score board,a mirror,a bridge,a pair of
oars, a dreamcatcher, a tonic, a shadow, a personal diary, a cup of chai and
much more.
A good friend is a bit
of yourself in another person.
Lucky are those, who
have such a friend...
Blessed are those, who
are such a friend.
Happy friendship day to
all my friends out here!
God bless!
25/12/2020, 13:03 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Not every ' thing ' can be classified as a materialistic item
with a price tag. Sometimes, the greatest of love or emotions are only
expressed in the form of things...
That shoe, a dad might
have bought ,forgoing his diwali dress or that dress, a mom might have stitched
overnight, not sleeping a wink or that watch , a spouse might have got with his
first salary after the marriage...
These are all things.
But, not materialistic, but priceless.
These acts are the
ingredients that go into making great memories that last beyond lifetimes.
25/12/2020, 13:04 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Statistically and otherwise too, a person who dislikes you -
in a straightforward manner - whom you know for sure, will never be there for
you , is anyday better than, a person who you think might be your friend, but in such a way that, you can never really
be sure as to whether you count on that person or not!
25/12/2020, 13:04 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Sarcasm is a fine art. It's at its best, when it comes
naturally. It is one of the most epic
creations of the human brain. It is an amalgamation of feelings, thoughts,
timing, choice of words, body language and tone. Not everyone can be trained to
embrace it, to convey themselves. Infact, not everyone can be trained to
understand it, to defend themselves!
25/12/2020, 13:04 - Raman
Bharadwaj: People who are not mindful, not only don't delight people who have
emotional expectations from them, but also, are clueless about the mindfulness
exhibited for them, by those very people.
25/12/2020, 13:04 -
Raman Bharadwaj: A good friend can protect you from the hurt caused by other
people taunting you.
It takes that special
friend, to protect you from the pain caused by you, daunting yourself !
25/12/2020, 13:05 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Sometimes, the same people , who are our role models on ' how
to be ' while treating people who are important to us, become role models on '
how not to be ' while treating people who are not (as) important!
25/12/2020, 13:06 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Boundaries in relationships are not restrictive, rather, when
clear, they are healthy , preventive of potential friction and hence,
protective of the relationship.
25/12/2020, 13:07 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Tears, certain memories, being alone, getting left out of
laughter and fun, not having that one person around, who will make us talk it
out - These occurrences, which the mind
recognises, as signalling 'sadness' , are sometimes, the same, it recognises as
generating 'solace' !
When you feel the urge
to yell at someone, count till 10.
In that duration, ask
yourself, (a) Is the issue worth yelling for (b) Does the person deserve being
yelled at (c) Is this environment suitable for an outburst. Yell, if your score
is 3/3.
Otherwise, drink a
glass of water. Talk things out with that person and fix the issue.
It's always about HOW
you say it rather than WHAT you are saying. Let peace prevail!
If someone is afraid of
people judging him,it could be either because he had done something wrong in
the past, which he regrets today or because he does not fully appreciate, the
blessings he has received from above.
25/12/2020, 13:07 -
Raman Bharadwaj: The human hardware does get older. There is no stopping this.
But the upgradation and virus protection of the software .... That is a matter
of choice!
25/12/2020, 13:07 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Seeking attention towards solving a problem , for a common
cause, is very different from 'creating
a cause' out of an incident ,to gain attention. Unfortunately, those who
receive such attention, lose respect.
25/12/2020, 13:07 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Do something only if you believe in its purpose , after analysing its intended and unintended
effects and the cost of reversing it , in the event of your wanting to or
having to do so.
25/12/2020, 13:07 -
Raman Bharadwaj: How we express disagreement or
put across an alternate opinion is a choice, that reflects on our
persona and mentality, rather than, on the propounded thought or the person to
whom it belongs!
25/12/2020, 13:08 -
Raman Bharadwaj: It is easy to show understanding, give advice, offer
situational support,be polite with and tolerate people who are neither listed
in your ration card nor as your emergency contact persons !
25/12/2020, 13:08 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Sometimes, clashes start between two sides, where one thinks
he is a victim and the other is the victim. Over time,in the absence of intent,
roles stabilize or reverse, clashes continue.
25/12/2020, 13:09 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Most times, there are two visuals of a problem - one that is
fact or truth based, sometimes demands effort to ascertain and the other, that
is easier or more comfortable to believe in.
25/12/2020, 13:09 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Everybody hears but very few listen. Showing signs of complete
attention AND actually listening , are strong ways, to show a person, how much
you care for them! Sometimes, listening
is all it takes,to mend a broken feeling...
25/12/2020, 13:09 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Irresponsibility is never accidental. It is the sum total of
poor upbringing, wrong social affinities, lack of right inspiration, inability
to comprehend common logic, absence of
empathy towards fellow human beings, along with a strong sense of self
infallibility.
25/12/2020, 13:09 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Mostly, breakdown or failure, does not happen as one step
outcome. It is the result ofprolonged negligence or ignorance, of symptoms of
non alignment to standards or expectations, over a period of time.
25/12/2020, 13:10 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Doing something which we usually do,that ends up in getting
attention is very different from doing something that seeks attention,
immaterial of how it is likely to end up.
Of the many kind of
addictions in life, seeking attention mindlessly, is becoming the most
dangerous one.
25/12/2020, 13:10 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Faith and fear are mutually exclusive. Whenever the darkness
called fear creeps into the heart, the light of faith has to flood it away.
25/12/2020, 13:11 -
Raman Bharadwaj: There is a subtle difference between "I am sorry"
and "I apologise". The former is expression of feeling bad and the
latter is an admission of being the cause for that 'feeling'.
25/12/2020, 13:11 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Being naive is to believe, what we see is what it is. Being
experienced is to assume, what we see is never what it is. Being seasoned is to
know when to trust and when to test.
25/12/2020, 13:11 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Some people just don't understand challenges that they don't
face, pains that they don't experience and passion that they don't have.
Understand this and liberate yourself from having to explain and justify
yourself,every single time!
25/12/2020, 13:11 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Humanity is a virtue and a way of life. It thrives or withers
in a person based on other virtues and values that person or his environment
nurtures. The scarcity of humanity today is in a way, the result of unattended
generation gap.
25/12/2020, 13:12 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Sometimes, some people's cheery/kind disposition towards us is
directly proportional to the actual or perceived quantum of use/help we can be
for them! Sometimes it is inversely proportional to the actual or perceived
negativity we cause them!
25/12/2020, 13:12 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Consistent one word replies to someones' messages,
specifically "Yep" or its variants, are a sure shot way of conveying
to that person, that you are not interested in pursuing a conversation with
them!
25/12/2020, 13:13 -
Raman Bharadwaj: A true friend is a person who chooses to ...
Stand by you, even when
it’s safer to move away
Trusts you , even
though your story may fall short
Supports you, even if
it means losing personal balance
Includes you, even if
you are making it difficult for them to
Feels for you, even if
you’re unaware of their own strifes
Misses you, even when
they are amidst happy engagements
Cares for you, even if
you are indifferent with them
Shares with you, even
if it’s a sizeable portion of their need
A true friend is a rare
find.
Blessed you are, if you
have one.
More blessed you are,
if you can be one.
25/12/2020, 13:13 -
Raman Bharadwaj: People are different in the different roles they play in life.
A good mother may not be necessarily a good mother-in-law. A good trainer may
not be a good friend and so on. Once we recognise the individuals Attitude
Behaviour Character (ABC) towards us, it becomes easy to accept them for who
they are and that in turn, sets us free from potential disappointments and
frustrations, as we move towards a positive and progressive future
25/12/2020, 13:13 -
Raman Bharadwaj: People change. Needs change. Priorities change. They need to.
This is called evolving.
Some changes would be
in our favour while some might not. We may be enthusiastic about a few changes
and reluctant about a few.
Nevertheless, the
sooner we embrace the new reality of a situation or a person, the more peaceful
and progressive we would be. Change afterall, is always a constant in the unsolvable equation of life.
25/12/2020, 13:13 -
Raman Bharadwaj: The validity of appreciation is only until the next mistake!!
Most times, many people, forget the good things one does consistently over time and somehow remember
only one's occassional mistakes or flaws.
So, it's safer to never
take appreciations to the head or criticisms to the heart!!
25/12/2020, 13:14 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Abusers are not always the seemingly loud, dominating,
narcissistic, arrogant or bold people. Many times, abusers are those who paint
the picture of being innocent, timid , well meaning, sufferers in their life,
who care eternally for the welfare of others! These are the people who will
talk anything about anyone in anyplace!!
25/12/2020, 13:14 -
Raman Bharadwaj: In most situations, many people, see what they want to see,
believe what they want to believe and do what they want to do and yet think that they are always right!!!
25/12/2020, 13:14 -
Raman Bharadwaj: The ones who have a great sense of humour are easy to manage.
The ones who don't have any sense of humour are also easy to manage. It's the
ones whom we can't ever make out -
which they will consider funny, when they will take something as funny
and whose they will take as funny - those are the real challenges to manage!!
25/12/2020, 13:14 -
Raman Bharadwaj: What is transactional & routine to one, may be substantial
& life altering to another.
It's very important to keep this in mind in dealings,
discussions & decisions impacting other human beings.
25/12/2020, 13:14 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Fixation develops when we start becoming dependent on
something physical to avoid the void inside.
If this fixation helps
to overcome the void, it becomes salvation. If it doesn't,it becomes addiction.
25/12/2020, 13:15 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Everybody is fighting a war in their lifetime. It consists of
multitude of battles. Some battles are won, some lost. Some battles are long, some
short.
So, there will never be
a time for anyone to complete all their battles to start doing something better
or new ... Don't wait for the battle to be over to start being more pleasant or
help around more in the house or be a significant contributor to the work team
or to start learning yoga or get a puppy or.... whatever.
Don't wait for the
battle to end to start living life. The end of a battle might be the onset of
another or...it might be the end of the war.
25/12/2020, 13:15 -
Raman Bharadwaj: A simple , spontaneous expression of love or care is anyday
more valueable to an expectant person than a powerful, flamboyant expression
that comes in late.
Don't wait to express.
Don't miss the moment. There may never be a better time...
25/12/2020, 13:15 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Words are powerful.Words can make or break. Words can hurt or
heal. Words can begin or end...
Surprisingly,
substituting 'Words' with 'Silence' can do exactly the same.
So, Silence & Words
both have to be used with great care and discretion, understanding the life
context of the receiving person, in order for the expression of the thought or
the feeling, to be effective.
25/12/2020, 13:15 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Sometimes people need their space & time. It's not that
they are cutting you off. They need that time to take care of themselves in
their own way. It's nothing to do with you. It's to do with their need to rejuvenate in their own way.
25/12/2020, 13:34 -
Raman Bharadwaj: Five thought lines (alone or in combination with one another),
which are almost always the reason for emotional and therefore subsequent forms
of misery and disaster are
1. I am always good
2. My way of doing is correct
3. I am the sufferer
here
4. I need whatever I
want
5. I thought...
25/12/2020, 13:36 -
Raman Bharadwaj: The petty keeps you down, the expansive raises you up. Lose
the dead weight and see yourself fly.
People will always tell
you what you can't do and why you can't do it.
Only you can tell you
what you can do and how you can do it.
Shift your focus to
what you have and go.
The holiday season is a
great time to evaluate what you have. Friends, family, colleagues, fellow
learners, teachers, classmates, mentors.
Identify your personal cheerleaders and feel loved. This is what protects and
nurtures you going forward. Include them in your journey.
A great time to also
evaluate what you leave behind, the toxic, manipulative, detrimental, what you
thought you wanted, how ill it served you, or why you are the lighter for it.
Have a conversation with your obstacles.
Perhaps the most useful
line i've heard in the last couple of days: take the knives out of your chest.
You don't need to carry
the burden of what others say or think of you. their betrayals, anger, envy,
sorrow. let them carry them.
Clear your heart and
move lightly.
25/12/2020, 13:37 -
Raman Bharadwaj: The reaction to an emotion will always be an emotion. If you
offer anger, you will get sadness or anger in return. If you want to change a
reaction, change what you give: an expectation, a thought, an intention or an
aspiration will elicit a response instead of a reaction.
25/12/2020, 13:38 -
Raman Bharadwaj: We hold on to anger because it defines what happened to us. In
doing so we allow it to define what will happen to us. We have come to believe
this definition. Yet, we existed before and we exist after. Redefinition comes
in looking beyond. Which means we have to release it.
Think of 3 things that
really disappointed/angered you in your life. Now pick up 3 pencils or pens,
one for each, and hold them in your hand. Now walk around all day, whatever you
do, drink coffee, bathe, eat a meal, without putting them down. This is how we
live with our burdens.
Until you put the
pencils down, you will always have them in the way. Even if you are functional,
you will feel obstructed. Soon you will come to be known as the 'guy who
carries 3 pencils' and you will come to identify yourself by the definition.
There is only one way: release.
How we each arrive at
putting our pencils down is our individual process. Whatever it is, we have to
start on that process if we are ever to be free of them. We begin this process
when the cost of not beginning it is greater. Say we pick up so many pencils we
cant continue.
Wisdom is in beginning
the process of putting down whatever we happen to pick up as we move through
life. This is detachment, or as Mr Debroy put it, non-attachment is a better
word. Detachment can be dissociative.
As we diet, and the
body consumes existing fat stores before hitting a space of lean food hygiene,
so also the mind must feed off existing deposits that drain it before it can
begin to use new ways of thinking. This is the resolution of unfinished
business.
So any healthy ways of
living, thinking, eating, and doing will kick in only after we have worked on
what is obstructing us. This is the process that meditation, psychological
intervention, and therapy works at. Without them, nothing new you do will help.
Thus DIY/self-help don't work
So you've read a book,
watched a blog and written down the tips and steps and follow them diligently.
You're eating salads but havent resolved the obesity of the mind you've been
living with for the past two decades. You haven't put down the pencils.
You stick to it for 21
days because that's how long (you've read in another helpful self-help book) it
takes to break an old habit and start a new habit. Doesn't work/works for a
while but you fall back to old ways. Old habit patterns are written into our
code. Disrupt them first.
Long version short: go
to therapy, get an intervention, clean out existing stores, put down the
pencils, then you'll have made space for the new ways of being and doing.

Raman Bharadwaj: I want us not to Survive but Thrive!
I want us not to Follow
but Flow!
I want us not to Fear
but Love!
I want our 2021 to be
filled with Abundance.

Raman Bharadwaj: Chritsmas Greetings and New Year Wishes
Let's earnestly
practice
- The art of giving
- The art of
appreciating
- The art of gratitude
- Being with people you
love
- Doing things you love
doing...
Saying
I want us not to
Survive but Thrive!
If love makes things
beautiful, I want us not to Follow but Flow!
If hope makes all things work, I want us not to Fear
but Love!
If faith makes all
things possible, I want our 2021 to be back to normal and be filled with
Abundance.
Let's practice the joy
of sharing and living.
Here are a few ideas :
Let's share generously:
01. The Gift of time

Raman Bharadwaj: *Keep Moving.. Don't Hurry*
*Guiding Quote:*
The moon moves slowly,
but it crosses the town.
~ African proverb
*Point to Ponder:*
Haste is everywhere
around us. But haste doesn’t always invite good outcomes. While we may not
slack unnecessarily, we should always consider the fact that there may be
unforeseen hurdles that might delay our plans. However, as long
as there is progress,
there is hope. Sometimes we appreciate the outcome of an effort better if there
were setbacks on the way to achieving it. It is hardship on our way to paradise
that helps us value the destination even more.
Action:
Let's not allow
ourselves to panic when things do not happen as rapidly as we want them to.
Let's do our very best to accomplish whatever we can, but we should also
practice patience where it is needed. We need to bear in mind that some things
require more time than initially anticipated, so let that not discourage us.
Have a realaxed day and
enjoy the weekend, my friend.
